What means "chryst is curst of faders and maders" in the Weekend wars lyric?
One common interpretation if the song is about time spent partying, drinking, doing drugs, etc.
One definition for a 'fader' is someone who drinks a lot and then loses steam at the end of the night. A 'mader' is a word for an insomniac. Therefore I think these both add to the entire theme of the song, having people at a party who pass out before the others and the people who stay awake longer than the others. I think `Christ` may just be a statement at the beginning, (used as a curse). The verse continues in a rather angry way, as the singer says he will get angry over small things (take a knife to split a hair) and scare children off his lawn, which is why him cursing about people `fading` and people up when they shouldn`t be might make sense.
The only problem I have is fader is a word played off of `fade` and so I would think it would be pronounced fay-der but in the song it is pronounced faw-der. Which is what lead me to believe it was fadre (a cross between father and padre; slang) and madre (Spanish for mother). But I`m not sure how that will be relevant.
