Why is Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated series on [adult swim]?

If it is on adult swim the only reason I could suggest is that they show death...people getting their heads cut off, or impaled through the chest by lightsabre...these are just two examples that I've seen...and was somewhat surprised that they would show it...on Cartoon Network.

But it is a kick a** show... yes?
